Some mums love crafts with their kids…… I’m not one of them. My thoughts are messy crafts with tiny pom poms, mixed paint pots and play dough that ends up all one yucky color should be kept at kindy/play group. I am so not a craft mum.
Heading to Dreamworld, Australia Zoo or Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary always involved patting and feeding the kangaroos; so at no stage did I ever think of trying roo meat that was until I started writing my list of 101 Things in 1001 Days.
When I saw a friend’s status about how frustrated she was I knew how to brighten her day and it starts with C and ends in offee! It’s the kind of day either yourself or your coffee buddy needs a pick me up or in some cases a wake me up; it’s the kind of day you say ‘Coffee is on me’.
Today I started cleaning up my iPod which is #61 on my list of 101 Things in 1001 Days and I thought I would write a blog post to make a confession. I confess that I love music! Absolutely LOVE it! To be honest I think everyone loves music; I’m yet to meet a person who doesn’t.
Instead of telling your childhood memories to your children I highly recommend you showing them. It’ll make you remember the good times, sad times and things you’ll cherish for a lifetime; and sharing them with your children makes it even more special. Childhood memories: Show them, don’t tell them.
